About Nick’s Inn

Nick’s Inn sits 10 minutes west of Winnipeg in Headingley, Manitoba. It opened in 1937 and its current owners took over in 1963.

The diner is brimming with character and 50s ambiance. Vintage movie posters like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes starring Marilyn Monroe hang from the walls of the diner, while classic hits from bands like The Contours play from the speakers.

Like most diners in Manitoba, Nick’s Inn serves Greek-inspired dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Before the pandemic, Nick’s Inn offered daily dinner specials that were a huge hit for regulars.

Nick’s Inn Menu

No matter what time of day it is, Nick’s Inn has your tummy covered, or rather, “filled”.

From bacon and eggs to Fat Boy burgers, to veal cutlets –Nick’s Inn has a dish for any time of day.

Portion sizes are generous, so if you order fries, expect a mountain of them!

Great food needed more than chefs; it needed gourmet diners.

Manitoba’s Burger Legacy

The “Fat Boy”

Manitoba is home to one of the world’s most unique burgers, the “Fat Boy”. The Fat Boy originated in Greek-style diners throughout Winnipeg, Manitoba in the 1950s.

Fat Boys are iconic because of their signature beanless beef chili filling that’s seasoned with cinnamon. This makes the burger sweet AND savory.

Fat Boys come with a beef patty, beef chili, pickles, onion, tomatoes, cheese, mustard, and mayo.
